Verify EN 1090 evidence: issuer, current certificate and supplied product
Check the complete production-control certificate with its issuer, actual site and product scope. Separate NANDO designation from certificate status and compare the supplied component with the manufacturer’s declaration.
Check the complete document through the real issuer
Read the certificate number, issuing body, manufacturer, production site, applicable reference and all scope annexes. Use the issuer’s official contact or verification method shown through its genuine website to confirm the document and current status. There is no single universal EN 1090 certificate lookup asserted here; a search result or copied PDF is not an issuer response.
Check the body’s actual designation and tasks through the Commission’s NANDO route separately. That entry identifies the body and notified tasks, not the current validity of every certificate it has issued. Record both checks and unresolved questions, including any applicable conditions or changes, rather than assigning a universal expiry period.
A first-page scan can hide a decisive scope annex
Conditional example: a supplier sends the front page of a production-control certificate for a proposed structural kit but omits the annex describing its product and operation scope. The headline reference looks right. Request the full document and compare actual manufacturer, site, materials, operations and kit with that scope; the front page alone cannot establish coverage.
Ask the genuine issuer about authenticity, current status and unresolved scope questions. Retain the supplied scan and subsequent response under their real versions. Missing annexes do not prove fraud, but they leave verification incomplete; do not invent the annex, alter the certificate or treat the supplier’s assurance as an issuer decision.
Verify what the supplied component actually demonstrates
Compare the manufacturer’s applicable declaration, product identity and supporting evidence with the actual order and supplied configuration. A current production-control certificate does not itself state every component’s design resistance or confirm suitability for the receiving project. Identify the specific characteristics and conditions still needing evidence or a responsible decision.
Kayra can organise the checks and discrepancy register. The issuer confirms its certificate and scope; the manufacturer owns product information, control and declaration, while project responsibilities remain separate. Keep the official responses and date of checking. This guide does not claim that a named certificate or supplier has already been verified.
