The burning of oil
The droplets of oil can be burned on a burner or hot stone; protection, shear capacity, and cleaning arrangements are studied.
For Gas grill, the applicable CE scope is determined from intended use, energy sources, safety architecture and target market. The risk assessment, technical file, testing and conformity route must be verified against the actual model.

In a gas grill, heat is transferred from the burner to the cooking plate or open grill surface. In a flat plate (griddle) model, the surface temperature and oil channel slope; in an open grill (chargrill) design, the burning of the dripping oil; in a lavish stone device, the location, saturation and cleanliness of the stones are promoted.
It is important that the oil is collected in a controlled manner and not reach the burner area in dangerous quantities. Even if ignition cannot be completely destroyed, the design should reduce the risk of uncontrolled fire and flame leap to the user in the expected cooking load. The risk analysis is taken into account when the oil top is filled, is stuck incorrectly, or is not cleaned. The temperature of the buttons, front panels and holds is measured; the gas pipes and valves are protected from intense heat.
The approved installation process for the gas grille is supported by special experiments in leakage resistance, ignition, flame control, combustion, temperature and product. The manufacturer should not consider the change in lava stone, plate thickness, brush hole geometry or oil top as a normal supplier change. The EMC/LVD relationship is conditionally examined if electronic ignition is present.
The following data shows why even models with the same product name can change the path of conformity.
The protective, control and verification approach shall be based on the actual product cycle.
The droplets of oil can be burned on a burner or hot stone; protection, shear capacity, and cleaning arrangements are studied.
The hot spot can cause the surrounding parts to overheat when burning food; distribution is measured in different settings.
Wind, drum hammer or oil flash can direct the flame forward; the geometry of the burner is evaluated.
If the oil and cleaning residue closes the air intake, carbon monoxide can increase; an accessible maintenance system is provided.
If the oil collection piece is not in position, it may flow into the hot zone; a design that reduces the settlement error is studied.
Plate coating and cleaning chemicals can affect food safety; evidence of relevant material is filed separately.
A single product name doesn't give the same answer for all models.
| The subject | The situation | Product-based evaluation |
|---|---|---|
| GAR 2016/426 | YES, YES | The general professional grill is for cooking purposes. |
| Authorized organization | YES, YES | GAR conformity assessment includes a third party in the type and production phase. |
| Food contact law | IT 'S A MESS . | If the cooking surface and coating come into contact with food, separate requirements from the CE are examined. |
| EMC | IT 'S A MESS . | If there's an electronic ignition or control, it's evaluated. |
| PED | NO , NOT AT ALL . | The standard gas grille is not pressure equipment. |
| ATEX | NO , NOT AT ALL . | Gas burning for a normal kitchen environment does not constitute ATEX coverage. |
ISO management system certification does not replace product-specific risk analysis, test evidence and compliance file.
The plate, groove, lava stone, open lattice, field and briller relationship is defined.
The risks of overload, drainage, ignition, cleaning and misassembly are included in the experimental plan.
The leakage resistance, ignition, combustion resistance, emission and surface temperatures are measured.
The approved entity will decide on the model family and the supervision of the series production.
Food contact evidence, cleaning method, installation and label file are combined.
The scope of the experiment varies between the rock-like, open- and plate-like types, and for a sound proposal, the surface, power, model, gas category, and available evidence must be considered.
Compare the top coverage or other similar risk architecture.
Heat transfer, oil flame contact, and airflow are different; the same type is not accepted without technical family evidence.
The expected cooking behaviour separates out uncontrolled dangerous flames; the product standard is based on conditions and risk assessment.
The plate is not a GAR device alone; it is assessed in terms of material safety and the temperature/mechanical requirements of the finished device.
Excessive or insufficient traction affects the flame and combustion product.
A component proof is available, but the installation and safety function within the finished device is verified at the entire product level.
The scope of surface type, power, model family, gas options, material testing and production oversight are taken into account.
